Finally getting a chance to post the happenings at the Carter Household. Final Exams are nearing, and another semester will be gone. Brianna is doing much better in school, making lots of new friends. Colton loves school and loves playing with Abby after school.

Halloween was great! Brianna enjoyed giving out the candy, and Colton has been dresssed like Batman for two months! (ha) really!! His papaw gave him some spending money, and he went and bought a new costume. His new identity is Spiderman!

It has been so busy in the Carter Family house that there has been no time to blog. Brianna is in 2nd grade. She is making new friends and hopefully will get into a routine soon too. She is probably always going to be my child that would rather stay home than go to school. This week she was rewarded with a Bobby Jack jacket that she had her eyes on at J.C. Penney from a few weeks ago when we had some girl time together. I told her I would buy it for her if she would get up and get dressed in the mornings without any arguing. Well, she got the jacket Friday. With the help of Haley and Wendi, Brianna had a much better week getting off to school. Thanks Wendi & Haley!!
Colton is loving preschool. His favorite thing is playing outside. He says he gets put in timeout nearly everyday. Friday, I asked him if he was put in time out and he said "No, then he looked at me and smiled real big, and said "Yeahhh, me didn't get put in timeout today."

Girls Night Out & Mama Mia

I am a little behind on my blogging, but I have to catch up as I can find the time. Our last girls trip was to the food court at the mall, and then we decided to catch a movie. Mama Mia. It was so funny. If you like Abba, you couldn't help but love Mama Mia! I wish I had thought to carry my camera. Sorry Court, You have to admit it was a FUN movie!!! We had a great time laughing and spending time together.

Coton's tonsilectomy

Colton had his tonsils taken out Friday. He has been such a big boy about it. Thanks everyone for your prayers. As most of you know, he just broke his collar bone two weeks ago, so my little fellar has had a rough summer.

We are having a busy, but great summer. We started off with a Memorial Day cookout at Nanna & Papaw's house. Bri & Colton had a lot of fun with Savannah, Kelsey Joe and Katlyn.

The first weekend in June, we took our annual girl's trip to Orange Beach. Thanks Kay for the trip. I always feel like the girls bond a little more each year. The highlights of the trip were the Dolphin Cruise, and looking for sand crabs at night.

This year we were fortunate enough to be able to take a family trip to Gatlinburg. We chose a hotel this year instead of a cabin. It was in downtown Pigeon Forge. The kids didn't care, and they were able to stay close to us all night. We went to Dollywood two days, and Splash Country one day. Brianna was just tall enough to ride anything and everything this year. Her favorite was the Tennessee Tornado, but the Mystery Mine is a little scary Brianna would warn you.

Colton loved riding the ponies, and Chris promised the kids he would try to catch them a crawdad. I guess you got lucky Chris!

It was a great trip!!
